Bank of America has given $250,000 to UNC to create a scholarship endowment fund for military families. The fund will provide scholarship support for military families through the University’s Red, White and Carolina Blue Challenge.
The Kenan-Flagler Business School is planning a building expansion that will enable it to grow its undergraduate program by at least 50 percent, supported by the school’s largest-ever gift from an individual.
An anonymous donor has set a $10 million challenge to support UNC’s Morehead-Cain Scholarship. If met, the Give Together Scholarship Challenge will be the largest single monetary gift ever made to the program by one of its alumni.
Walter Hussman Jr., a 1968 graduate of Carolina’s journalism school, has put his deep faith in the profession to work for the 69-year-old school with a $25 million gift that has renamed it the Hussman School of Journalism and Media.
