By February of 1868, the tensions that had been building between the Federal Executive and Legislative branches erupted.  While the South and its people continued to deal with Reconstruction, the drama in Washington City took center stage.  Join us as we pick up the story of Reconstruction which features the, then, unprecedented trial of an American President.
